Black Cherry Gelato

About This Strain

Lineage: Black Cherry Funk x Acai

Overview

Born from a mouthwatering cross between Black Cherry Funk and Acai, Black Cherry Gelato is a slightly indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica/40% sativa). Famous for its rich flavor profile and deeply soothing high, this strain is an exceptional choice for anyone who appreciates top-tier taste combined with tranquil, full-body relaxation.

Aroma & Flavour

True to its dessert-inspired name, Black Cherry Gelato offers a sweet and fruit-forward sensory experience. The palate is treated to rich dark cherries and ripe berries, balanced by subtle undertones of sweet apricot and fresh pine. Its aromatic profile develops beautifully:

• Aromas: Breaking apart these buds releases an inviting scent of sweet herbal berries and pine forest notes, turning pleasantly pungent and skunky as the nugs are burned.
• Flavours: A luscious burst of fruity cherry and sweet berries on the inhale, smoothed out by hints of apricot and a light touch of skunky herbs on the exhale.

The High

The Black Cherry Gelato high sets in smoothly, beginning with a gentle mental lift that settles racing thoughts and dissolves daily stress. It replaces negativity with a blissful, hazy sense of calm and clear focus.

As your mind drifts into serenity, a warm, tingly sensation flows down through your body, melting away muscle tension and easing you into deep relaxation. With its comfortable, mild couch-lock and a frequent surge in appetite and arousal, it is the perfect companion for a cozy evening in.

Medical Benefits

Boasting a high average THC potency between 22% and 26%, Black Cherry Gelato is a popular choice for medical marijuana patients. It is frequently used to help manage symptoms associated with:

• Chronic stress and anxiety
• Mild depression and mood swings
• Insomnia and restlessness
• Chronic pain and muscle tension
• Muscle spasms and cramps
