Orange Diesel

About This Strain

Lineage: Sour Diesel x Agent Orange

Overview

Orange Diesel, also known to cannabis enthusiasts as "Agent D" or "Sour Orange Diesel," is a well-balanced, sativa-dominant hybrid with a legendary pedigree. Born from a cross between the notoriously potent Sour Diesel and TGA Seeds’ Agent Orange, this strain beautifully captures the most beloved characteristics of both parents, offering a flavorful and highly functional daytime experience.

Aroma & Flavour

Orange Diesel is famous for a complex terpene profile that manages to be both sweet and aggressively pungent. It smoothly marries the sharp, bright citrus of Agent Orange with the harsh bite of Sour Diesel.

• Aromas: A pungent blend that fills the room with the smell of sour fuel, skunk, and freshly peeled oranges.
• Flavours: Users can expect a mouth-watering sweet orange flavor on the inhale, followed by a surprisingly delicious, fuel-heavy diesel aftertaste.

The High

Much like its bold flavor, the Orange Diesel high packs an immediate and satisfying punch. Sativa lovers will appreciate the swift onset of sharp, clear-headed energy and laser-like focus. The buzz is uplifting, motivating, and incredibly long-lasting, inspiring a state of creativity and euphoria that makes it perfect for social gatherings or tackling a to-do list.

Despite its energetic kick, the strain's 40% indica genetics provide a smooth undercurrent of mind-and-body relaxation that keeps you grounded rather than feeling jittery or anxious.

Medical Benefits

Thanks to its moderate THC level (averaging 14–16%) and its highly focused effects, Orange Diesel is a favorite among medicinal users looking for reliable daytime relief. It is highly regarded as a treatment for:

• ADD and ADHD (due to sharpened concentration)
• Chronic fatigue
• Chronic stress
• Mild cases of depression

Appearance

Visually, Orange Diesel leans heavily into its Agent Orange heritage. The flowers form medium-sized, lumpy, spade-shaped nuggets in striking shades of bright neon green. True to its namesake, the bud is wrapped in a thick, furry layer of fiery orange pistils. The visual appeal is topped off by a heavy, frosted coating of chunky white trichomes and visible droplets of sweet, sticky resin.
