# Permanent Marker

**Strain Info:** Indica-Dominant Hybrid (70/30) | THC: 34% - 35%

## About This Strain

**Lineage:** (Biscotti x Sherb Bx) x Jealousy

### Overview

Crowned Leafly's Strain of the Year in 2023, Permanent Marker is
a powerhouse cultivar that has taken the modern cannabis world
by storm. Released in 2022 by Los Angeles indie brand Doja
Exclusive, this elite strain was expertly bred by Seed Junky
Genetics' JBeezy and hand-selected by Doja Pak. By fusing three
legendary cultivars, the creators birthed a top-tier hybrid that
leaves an indelible mark on both the palate and the mind.

### Appearance

Permanent Marker boasts massive bag appeal. The dense,
oversized, spade-shaped buds are a vibrant emerald green,
beautifully contrasted by flashes of deep purple foliage. A
tangle of thin orange hairs weaves throughout the nugs, which
are completely caked in a frosty layer of amber-tinted white
trichomes.

### Aroma & Flavour

Living up to its name, this strain boasts a highly distinct and
complex profile that is incredibly bold:
-
**Aromas:** Hits the nose with a distinct,
pungent odour reminiscent of an actual permanent marker,
backed by a dank blend of spicy diesel and super sour citrus.
-
**Flavours:** When smoked, users note a
lingering, soapy, gassy funk that perfectly balances with
sweet and sour fruity candy, finishing with a punch of floral,
citrusy diesel on the exhale.

### Effects & Potency

Approach with caution—with staggering average THC levels
hovering around 34-35%, Permanent Marker is remarkably strong.
