Super Silver Haze

About This Strain

Lineage: Skunk x Northern Lights x Haze

Overview

Meet the undisputed heavyweight champion of the late 90s. Super Silver Haze (SSH) is a legendary sativa-dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) bred by the acclaimed Green House Seeds. A true cannabis hall-of-famer, this potent hybrid cemented its legacy by taking home first prize at the High Times Cannabis Cup for three consecutive years (1997, 1998, and 1999). It remains an absolute must-try for any sativa lover looking to spark their creativity and uplift their mood.

Aroma & Flavour

Crack a bud open, and you'll be immediately greeted by a bold, classic profile that leans heavily on its Skunk and Haze genetics:

• Aromas: A pungent, skunky base beautifully laced with notes of spicy, earthy herbs and a sharp, sour citrus bite throughout.
• Flavours: Expect a classic spicy and herbal taste on the inhale, giving way to a sharp, zesty, and sour citrus profile on the exhale.

The High

Super Silver Haze doesn't waste any time. The high slams into your mind almost immediately upon exhale, washing away negativity and replacing it with a surge of blissful, lifted energy. You'll feel motivated and deeply happy, paired with a delightfully "stoney" and hazy cerebral effect—perfect for free-flowing artistic hobbies or wandering outdoors rather than tasks requiring intense focus.

Eventually, that soaring cerebral energy seeps down into a long-lasting, soothing body buzz. It gets you up and moving while easing aches and pains, making it a superb daytime option without chaining you to the couch.

Medical Benefits

Because of its fast-hitting uplifting properties and physically relieving effects, alongside a high average THC level of 18-23%, Super Silver Haze is highly sought after by medical patients seeking relief from:

• Chronic fatigue and lethargy
• Depression and chronic stress
• Migraines and frequent headaches
• Nausea or severe appetite loss

Appearance

Visually, SSH is a stunner. True to its name, this strain produces airy, fluffy, popcorn-shaped bright green nugs. These buds are heavily woven with bright orange hairs and are buried under a glittering, famously thick, sticky blanket of silvery-white crystal trichomes.
